Coles Corner was the third full-length album by romantic crooner and '50s thowback Richard Hawley. As is often the case with his albums it was named after a Sheffield landmark and it's vintage sound reflects the sepia-tinted melancholy of the places he writes about. It's mix of country, chamber pop and rock 'n' roll was another step forward for this ever dependable artist.
